Shawn Barber

Shawn Barber is the CEO and founder of Devfinity. Shawn grew up in the small town of Moscow, Idaho and moved to Utah in 2014. He attended Northern Arizona University for his undergraduate degree and completed his master’s degree in Information Systems at the University of Utah. As a self-proclaimed computer nerd, Shawn has always had a low for developing software and solving data problems. With over a decade of experience in senior management and tech, Shawn leads over 150 people in the United States, Australia, Nepal, and Mexico. Shawn is a data expert, with additional expertise in strategy, app development, and systems architecture. He’s a charismatic leader, striving to reach new heights and get things done!

Janaki Joshi

Janaki Joshi is the Director of Business Operations for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Mahendrnagar Kanchchanpur, she graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from The National College of Engineering in Nepal. With over 14 years of experience, she drives performance improvements across various departments, implements long term strategies, and manages the entire Nepal team, making sure to support and assist the team to reach company goals. Janaki’s experience lies in project and portfolio management, Agile Transformation, and she is a certified Scrum Master.

Daniel Avila

Daniel Avila is the Director of Mexico Operations for our Devfinity office located in Guadalajara, Mexico. Originally from Teocaltiche, Jalisco, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo. Daniel manages the Mexico Office, working to build and maintain strong relationships between with global clients. He also works to support and assist his team throughout their various projects. Daniel has a strong development background, and extensive experience in project management. He has successfully lead teams for more than a decade.

Michael Wilkinson

Michael Wilkinson is the Director of Project Operations for our Devfinity US team located in Salt Lake City. Originally from Houston, Texas, he graduated with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Utah State University. With over 16 years of experience in the field, Michael works to ensure that Devfinity’s project goals, objectives and mission are carried out through daily operations and customer interactions. His experience is in software development, network architecture, information security, cloud computing, and data center management.

Sanna Weggersen

Sanna is a Project Manager for our Devfinity US team located in Salt Lake City. Originally from Drammen, Norway, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Ensign College. With over 2 years of experience in IT Project Management, she manages projects from start to finish, including data, design, and technical projects. Her expertise is in project management, business strategies and project coordination.

Lexi Larremore

Lexi Larremore is an Account Executive for our Devfinity US team. Originally from West Jordan, Utah, she works with the sales team to build and maintain lasting client relationships with prospects, while continuing to network and discover new opportunities. With 4 years of experience in Sales, Lexi is skilled in understanding business’s unique challenges and strategizing how to solve them.

Satij Dangol

Satij Dangol is a Team Lead and Senior Software Developer for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Lalitpur, Nepal, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and information technology from the Academia International College. With over 7 years of experience, he leads and manages a team of software developers, plans and organizes the delivery of projects, and provides technical guidance through various projects. He is skilled in Stack – C#, Angular, JavaScript, among many other programs.

Kabita Dhimal

Kabita Dhimal is the WordPress Team Lead for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Kathmandu, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in information management from Tribhuvan University and an MBA from Vinayaka Missions University in India. She manages and leads the entire Devfinity WordPress team, writing website code, maintaining team workflows, and working to conceptualize new team projects. She has 12 years of experience working as a WordPress Developer and is very skilled in PHP and Custom WordPress theme and plugin development, among many other programs.

Subhan Karki

Subhan Karki is a Data Manager Team Lead for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Biratnagar, Nepal, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Purbanchal University. With over 14 years of experience, he oversees the data department, leading data analysts, database administrators and data engineers. He also works to develop and implement data strategies, identify key KPIs, while maintaining data privacy, quality and security. His expertise ranges from database administration and data analytics to business intelligence and data engineering.

Ujjwal Shrestha

Ujjwal is the Mobile Team Manager for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Kathmandu, he graduated with bachelor’s a degree in IT from Purbanchal University. With over 11 years of experience, he leads the developers to create cutting-edge mobile applications for our client base. His expertise ranges from iOS and Android app development, as well as UI/UX design and agile project management.

Yajal Shrestha

Yajal is the Lead Designer for our Devfinity Nepal team located in Kathmandu. Originally from Kathmandu, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Commerce from Peoples Campus. With over 12 years of experience, he leads the design team in creating and analyzing web designs for our diverse client and consumer base. He has expertise working with programs like Figma, CSS, HTML, JQuery, and Illustrator.
