About the Role

We are looking for someone who can go beyond dashboard design and truly understand the data behind the report.
The right candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable with SQL, and able to ask the right questions before building reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Work with business users to understand reporting requirements.
  • Translate business questions into metrics, KPIs, datasets, and reports.
  • Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
  • Perform data validation between reports, source systems, and data warehouse tables.
  • Create clean and understandable data models for reporting.
  • Support dashboard performance optimization.
  • Document report logic, metric definitions, filters, assumptions, and data sources.
  • Work closely with data engineers to improve reporting datasets.
  • Help identify data quality issues and communicate them clearly to the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Power BI, Data Analyst, or BI Analyst role.
  • Strong Power BI development skills.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with DAX.
  • Experience with Power Query.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into reports.
  • Experience with data modeling for BI/reporting.
  • Understanding of measures, KPIs, filters, slicers, drill-throughs, and report usability.
  • Ability to validate report numbers and explain discrepancies.
  • Good communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing.

Good to Have

  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts.
  • Ability to create clean, user-friendly, and business-focused dashboards.
  • Experience working with finance, sales, operations, or client reporting data.
